When this camera is connected to your router, you can check if the power in your home is still on, when you are away on holliday. It's nice to know, that your freezer still has power :-) This 45$ Denver WiFi IP-camera (network webcam) can be connected directly to your internet router with a network cable. A cable conncetion is better than WiFi, which may occasionally fail. You can access this webcam from an App on your phone. This is exclusively for a 2,4 GHz network. 5 GHz is not supported.
