1937 Delahaye 135 MS
Figoni & Falaschi produced this one off roadster for the 1937 Paris Auto Salon. Just before the Salon, the car was shown at the August Concours d’Elegance at Saint Cloud, France. It was a distillation of Figoni’s signature curved styling with fully enclosed front and rear fenders replacing the standard pontoon fenders of that era. Their incorporation into the body along with Art Deco aluminum side trim created a streamlined vehicle giving the impression of being in motion when standing still. The style was subsequently imitated by designers the world over.
