Eagle Close Fly By 1382

Winter in Homer, and I am sitting on the beach watching the eagles fly by.

They mate for life, have exceptional eyesight, build massive nests, are not actually bald, and can live for 20-30 years in the wild. Eagles are large birds of prey, and the bald eagle, a common type, has a wingspan ranging from 5.5 to 8 feet (1.68 to 2.4 meters) and weighs between 6 to 15 pounds.
