Ball of Light™ - Respect
I am in Sydney this week and met with some people that had never seen the Ball of LIght before. I was scrolling through a bunch of "historic" images on the iPad, and was kind of blown away by just how long it has been, and the volume of work getting to this point.
This image which was taken on the same morning as "distantly Related" popped up, and made me feel butterflies on my stomach.
I took this image in December 2009. With a Canon 450d using an 18-200 kit lens. The moon you see about to lunge below the horizon is a blue moon, which is the second full moon in a calendar month. it is about 5am, and I felt like my whole world was perfect!
Classic. And it makes me feel a level of respect for the Ball of Light, and what it brings and symbolises in my life. Change, warmth, balance and a certain degree of love.
It also makes me feel excitement as to where I have come with my photography, and the huge amount of wonderful people who i share this wonderful journey with online. What a community of folks. What an amazing, developing and growing bunch of innovators!
Bring on Cambodia!
Peace
