equilibrium

in between

sap rising and

dark falling

an intake of breath

not even a pause

in the spinning

swung into the new

releasing the old

blossoms arriving

the branch undressing

lights and shadows

everything blurring this

breathing earth the

whole place reeling

sure footed falling

all of us rising

partners

in the oldest dance
