Thistle

Thistle Haiku-

Beauty spent, she stands

tall and defiant against

the endless blue sky.

(I'm no poet but this is something I'm trying to use as part of an English lesson)

 

I shot this thistle with some famous light house in the background. One of the lighthouse keeper people commented he'd never seen so many people taking pictures of thistles and he was Scottish.
