The Grand Duke Alexis in the Bois de Boulogne, in a baby carriage dragged by the “Boogie” electric Helmann (1899).

 

Grand Duke Alexander Mikhailovich is a member of the Romanov Dynasty which rules over Russia from 1613 to 1917.

Fourth of the six sons of Grand Duke Michel Nicolaïevitch of Russia and Grand Duchess Olga Fiodorovna, born Cécile de Bade, he is one of the many grandchildren of Tsar Nicolas I and Tsarina Alexandra Feodorovna, born Charlotte of Prussia.
