Chemical Structure 093 - NITROGLYCERINE

Nitroglycerine, also called glyceryl trinitrate, has been used for over 130 years in medicine as a potent vasodilator to treat heart conditions, such as angina pectoris and chronic heart failure. Oh, and it is a powerful explosive and an important ingredient of most forms of dynamite. Nitroglycerine’s molecular formula is C3H5N3O9.
