Convolvulus sepium | greater bindweed

 

The bane of my existence as a gardener. I eradicated every last bit of it from this garden the year after we moved in ... but the neighbour did not. Within a year it was everywhere again. Unkillable, once you have put perennials in, cause of course THAT is where it hides. What the hell, it *is* a pretty plant. Goodbye irises, roses, lillies, from now on it's all elderberry bush and bindweed.
