Garfinny Bridge, near Dingle, County Kerry, Ireland
Droichead na Gairfenaí. Believed to be the oldest standing bridge in Ireland, it was likely used by Lord Grey and his troops as they proceeded to to the siege of Smerwick in 1580, where they beheaded 600 prisoners who had surrendered at Dún An Óir. The bridge is a corbelled construction, built without mortar.
