Banana Flash

I usually avoid using artificial light in my photography. However, when it comes to shooting bunches of bananas hanging from a banana tree where the large leaves create a natural canopy, the only way to properly bring the image to life is to use an external light source.

 

This was photo was taken using a Canon 580EX flash equipped with a Gary Fong Lightsphere Universal System Cloud.
