So at the end of the greatest of projects to photograph 100 strangers, in fact rather more but some ended up not being 'up to scratch' , so there is it is, a brilliant thing to have completed, very good at raising the skills needed to take pictures of people with natural light quickly. I met 100 lovely people along the way, the project took me in directions I could not have predicted and I'm sorry that its finished but then its still on the go, I will still be taking portraits but now with more time and with a better understanding.
My very last person to photograph was the one I was looking for, as we are in the middle of the pandemic it seems right to have the mask at centre stage, the mask a symbol of the virus and the pandemic. Here Megan works at the local store ushering and controlling the flow of people into the shop. But a great model, eyes totally focused on the lens, one more person in the battle to keep us all safe. Thank you so much Megan and a huge thank you to all those in the project, without the 100 strangers there would be no photographs and no project.
July 2020, 8 month from the start.
Donc à la fin du plus grand des projets de photographier 100 étrangers, en fait un peu plus mais certains ont fini par ne pas être à la hauteur, donc voilà, c'est une chose brillante à terminer, très bon pour élever les compétences nécessaires pour prendre rapidement des photos de personnes avec de la lumière naturelle. J'ai rencontré 100 personnes adorables en cours de route, le projet m'a emmené dans des directions que je n'aurais pas pu prévoir et je suis désolé que ce soit fini mais qu'il est toujours en mouvement, je vais toujours prendre des portraits mais maintenant avec plus de temps et avec un meilleur compréhension.
Ma toute dernière personne à photographier était celle que je cherchais, car nous sommes au milieu de la pandémie, il semble juste d'avoir le masque au centre de la scène, le masque symbole du virus et de la pandémie. Ici, Megan travaille dans le magasin local, inaugurant et contrôlant le flux de personnes dans le magasin. Mais un grand modèle, les yeux totalement focalisés sur l'objectif, une personne de plus dans la bataille pour nous garder tous en sécurité. Merci beaucoup Megan et un immense merci à tous ceux qui ont participé au projet, sans les 100 étrangers, il n'y aurait ni photographie ni projet.
