We live in a small Oxfordshire village, many people walk with dogs around the village and through the lanes and country in this part of Oxfordshire. Dogs abound-but not too many of the wonderful breed I thought to be Husky dogs but no, these are Alaskan Malamute, and two dogs about to go to the largest, most prestigious and the world famous Crofts dog show next month. Accompanied by owners Jim and Kate, Father and daughter. They were happy to be part of the 100 strangers project and I was very happy to send a number of pictures to them. They were amused to see me lying on the floor and moving when the odd car came by, the dogs behaved well and the small F number helped blur the background leading the eye to the stars the small dog show! Black and white again, it seems to be the medium that suits portraits so well, but colour can be great as well I know but there is just something about mono.

As they say never work with children or animals, certainly dogs are both great and difficult, making a noise like a cat can help, but there is a need to be just a bit careful or not too lifelike! For these dogs the thing they like the most is cold weather, ice and snow - perfect!
