El Luchador
This is one of several (also posted) where I wanted to do some "product" style photos but with a bit more control over lighting and style. This is a wooden "Luchador" ie Mexican Wrestler that I got for xmas since I'm a Lucha Libre fan..
Strobist: 70w (equivalent of 350w) white light above camera a bit left. 430ex flash with homemade snoot shot below camera, aimed up at subject to create the ominous shadow on the background.
This is one of the few times I really felt like I was truly controlling the light to my liking!
