Gannet

Every year these plunge divers congregate to breed and often perform elaborate mating rituals at select few location in New Zealand. These ones are at the Muriwai Gannet Colony just northwest of Auckland.

The birds reach their necks skyward and often tap or rub their bills together and stroke each other in displays of affection.
