The weekend prior to this shot being taken, this grill was hot hot hot. It took Yellow jackets (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yellow_jacket) a week to start up 3 nests. From their perspective the inside of a closed grill is an excellent shelter other than the whole getting heated up thing, that and tipping over in the wind.
