My order of extension tubes came in yesterday. The first thing I thought of was “I have dead bugs in my back window from over the summer!”. Odd. Any ways, here is my first attempt. The focal range with all of the tubes (Fotodiox Canon EOS Macro Extension Tube Set Kit for Extreme Close-up) is extremely narrow. This isn't an issue with stationary objects, however it is going to be one hell of a challenge for live insects. I really love the results for my first time out.
