Finally!

The Red-bellied woodpecker babies seem to be later than usual this year. It's only been in the last week that I've heard their high, thin calls from way up in the trees and today was the first time one flew down within camera range. For a bird that will later develop a very loud call, the juveniles can barely be heard at all.
