Ruby-throated Hummingbird (f) Archilochus colubris
Sometimes it's peculiarity not quality that piques my interest in a picture. This photo leaves me with the question, How many toes does a Hummingbird have? Also, the way the Hummer merely drags her feet along as dead weights makes me wonder if swimmers couldn't take the hint that all their kicking is a dreadful waste of energy.
