Early Morning Fog in Halong Bay

Halong Bay, Vietnam. Halong Bay was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994. It is renowned for its 3000 limestone and dolomite islands which are scattered across an area of 1,500 square km's. Halong Bay is a magnificent place with lots of photo opps. For two days traveling aboard "Junk" boats we cruised around these islands for about 4 hours each day and mooring for the night amongst the other "Junks". This picture was taken at about 6:00am in the morning on the deck of our "Junk" - Doi Tau Huy Hoang. The fog in the morning was incredible. It did however pose some problems when trying to capture the moment with your camera.
