Gator Hole
During dry weather, alligators will wallow in the mud and create holes that fill with water. They will then hang out in the water holes they created. These holes also provide shelter for other animals, such as frogs and turtles, that also live in water. This one is across the trail from 40 Acre Lake at Brazos Bend State Park.
