Sunrise at Lake Amistad

Lake Amistad was formed by a dam on the Rio Grande River just downstream of its junction with the Devil's River. The lake provides water for the cities of Del Rio, TX, and Ciudad Acuña, Mexico. This area has suffered severe drought conditions for several years, and the lake level is very low, as seen here.
