Assassinated Sign

Historical marker - with bullet holes - near Llano, TX. Although there were numerous legends concerning the San Saba silver mines, which would have been in this area, this sign says the Spanish explorers who looked over the area found nothing to corroborate the legends and nothing to suggest that any precious metals were to be found at all.
