St. Francis Statue in Santa Fe

Going through the archives looking for things that might benefit from reprocessing. This is a photo of the statue of St. Francis of Assisi in front of the Santa Fe cathedral, taken on our vacation to New Mexico in 2009.

The red and yellow ribbons reflect the colors of the New Mexico state flag and were the royal colors of Spain at the time of Santa Fe's founding. The ribbons were hung on the statue to commemorate the 400th anniversary of Santa Fe, which occurred in 2010.

Though the metadata indicate that I took this photo in 2008, I had the date set in the camera incorrectly. It was actually in 2009.
