Mt. Ascutney from Aspet

Aspet was the name of the estate owned by Augustus St. Gaudens. He gave it a French name in honor of his French father. He turned it into an art colony, at which a number of artists lived and worked, including Maxfield Parrish and his father. This was the view from the front porch.
