Nearly Golden Arches
Row of arches beside the courtyard at Mission San Jose in San Antonio, TX, now a UNESCO World Heritage site
San Jose is one of the four San Antonio mission sites that are in the San Antonio Missions National Historic Park. The fifth mission, San Antonio de Valero (a.k.a. the Alamo), occupies a special place of its own in history and is not a part of the NHP.
All four missions still function as parish churches. When my wife and I honeymooned in San Antonio in 1982, we attended a mariachi mass at San Jose. It was different, to say the least. I don't know if they still do those, but it wouldn't surprise me.
