Snow in Plateau Country

Ghost Ranch lies on the southern end of the Colorado Plateau in northern New Mexico. As such, it has a surfeit of colorful rocks, mostly red and yellow in color. In fact, the nearby county seat is Tierra Amarilla, which is Spanish for yellow land. The scenery around here is spectacular, and one can see why Georgia O'Keeffe loved it so much.
