Poked in the Eye With a Stick

This large - about 12 ft. (3.7 m) - alligator on the Spillway Trail at Brazos Bend State Park appears to have had a stick stuck in its eye. The stick is there because it came to rest on the gator's head when it came out of the water in the nearby Pilant Slough.
