Too Rustic to be True
Reprocessed photo from the archives. Indeed, it is not true. This building was part of the old Contrabando movie set near Lajitas, TX, which was built in 1985 and subsequently used for at least six movies and a music video. Flooding on the Rio Grande River in 2008 left the water line seen on this building. The Texas Dept. of Transportation eventually decided the buildings were too dangerous for people to wander around in them, so they removed all but one. This one, alas, is no longer there.
