Snowfall on Ventana Arch

The Malpais National Monument in northern New Mexico is covered mostly by volcanic basalt, but it has some interesting sandstone features, such as the Ventana Arch, a few miles south of Interstate 40 just off NM 117. This was taken during a late spring snowfall.
