Owens Valley Sunset

The Owens Valley runs between the eastern Sierra Nevadas and a set of mountain ranges to the east. Runoff from the Sierras is collected here and transported via an aqueduct to the Los Angeles Basin and provides a major portion of the Los Angeles water supply.
