Panamint Valley Panorama
The Panamint Valley is on the west side of the Panamint Mountains, which are on the west side of Death Valley. Panamint Valley is actually a part of Death Valley National Park, but whereas the lowest point in Death Valley is 282 feet below sea level, the lowest point in Panamint Valley is about 1000 feet above sea level. It is quite striking in appearance, similar to Death Valley, and deserves to be part of a National Park.
