Rocks in the Alabama Hills

The granite rocks of the Alabama Hills lie at the foot of the eastern Sierra Nevada mountains near Lone Pine, California. Many movies have been filmed here, most of them westerns from before World War II, but more recent movies such as the original Star Wars and Iron Man were partially shot here as well.
