Sunset Bird Blizzard

The bird blizzard at Brazos Bend State Park occurs around sunset, when thousands of birds begin chasing insects around the park's lakes. The park has built a thirty-foot-tall observation tower beside one of the lakes, and it's a good place from which to watch the birds.
