Blue Jeans and Brown Bags
The denim is from a pair of old and stained discarded blue jeans...my husband's... the underside looks good in fact...no marks.
The brown paper comes from a saved bag...first covered with artist's gesso, then a layer or ordinary acrylic paint. I tried this because of a notation from one of my flickr contacts...who mentioned her method. I do not remember that she stitched on her work however..... ( I'd appreciate a reminder from that contact...)
A recently completed project...total area covered by the three pieces, about 15"x 31".
