The Seashell Stitch

The seashell stitch as referring to crocheting.

Usually used on the edges of blankets, bonnets etc

This stitch may also be used in rows to create an intriguing pattern.

Practice

Chain about 30

With yarn around hook go wrap around and go into the 4th chain using a double stitch. Do 5 double stitches in the same chain.

Skip 2. Single chain the 3rd

Skip 2 Double chain the next one 5x

 

Repeat..

Done
