A Helping Hand

You definitely need a helping hand at times as you navigate the mud along the shorelines of the Redlands Coast. I can personally attest to that as I had to be rescued myself a few months ago. I was out photographing a boat scene at Victoria Point about 10 mins before sunset when I accidentally stepped into a hole and sunk down above my knees. I had not intended to photograph that evening so I didn't take my tripod and I didn't take my mobile with me. I had my camera in one hand and couldn't leverage myself out - I was stuck solid and didn't know what to do as there wasn't anyone else around. It was getting dark and I truly began to think I would be there all night. I called out for help several times and no one came but then I saw a man come to check on his boat - my knight in shining armor! He came and rescued me.

It got me to thinking - There may be situations in our lives where we need to cry out for help and be rescued. Sometimes our problems are just too big for just one person to handle so don't be embarrassed to call out for help - there will always be someone willing to lend a helping hand and rescue you.
