CTB & JLB's album

Let's see - It's Ida, Mary, Janet, Christopher Columbus, Anna and not sure who the other woman is. But I love the stuffed animal the candy dish the lamp, the wicker chair. who took the photo? Must have been Carl Taylor. And he set up the photo too and posed everyone and directed them in the way to look or not look, because that's what he did. It's a peek into his work, his world , his mind. Better than television, better than internet we human beings can be present and entertain one another for ann entire lifetime and never tun dry.

I do wish that the person with hand to face behind Anna (right side) had made it into the frame.

Evening Land

A good poem for vespers:

It is in the evening that one breaks up,

at sunset

Then it is that one abandons everything.

Mind takes down its tents of spider web,

and heart forgets why it felt anxious.

The desert wanderer abandons his campsite,

which will soon be obliterated by sand,

and continues on his journey in the stillness of night,

guided by mysterious stars.
