Resident Eagle

This eagle has been down at my creek for a week or so now. One time I scared him up while down at the creek getting some rocks to use in my yard. Another time I was down at the creek and he/she flew up the creek right by me.

 

Then a couple days ago it was flying way up in the air, high over my creek as I was sitting in my backyard with my critters and there was another bird flying around that at first I thought was a hawk and that it was chasing this eagle.

 

Turns out though, that the other bird was a juvenile Bald eagle. I didn't realize that though until I had uploaded the photos I got onto my computer.

 

Both these photos are very heavily cropped so they aren't of the best quality but it was a cool thing to see so I'm sharing them anyway.
