The Perisama xanthica is an exotic Nymphalidae butterfly only found in the beautiful cloudforests of the Peruvian Amazon Rainforest. The Perisama family has 32 documented species that are mostly active during the mid-morning. This species is closely related to the beautiful family of Diaethria family of butterflies, mostly known for the "88" or "89" butterflies.
This beautiful butterfly is also available in Black, White and Red framing.
