Sci-Fi Scene TiXLmade by bennoH.
I created this sci-fi scene using TiXL, an open-source software for motion graphics and VJing. The spaceship, the space station, the Earth in the background, and the abstract star are all created as 3D models in Blender, exported in ".obj" format, and imported into TiXL using the OBJ loader. Each object can be individually edited live. Camera positions, object rotations, textures, and so on can be used in a live performance to synchronize with the music or simply to experiment and animate the sci-fi scene. The assets are available for free download, and in corresponding YouTube tutorials, I explain how to build the sci-fi scene in TiXL, send the individual elements via spout to Resolume Arena/Avenue or another VJ hub for further adaptation, mix the elements, and output them for projection to a projector. The link contains details including the mentioned asset download link: resolume.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=31638
