Septic Field Repair

The septic field for our house was built pre 1970, as far as I can tell. It was too small and made of four inch clay pipe buried with no base substrate (like gravel) and, it looks like 1 inch leach gaps in between pipe sections.

Since then, septic standards have been upgraded. We needed to replace our field because fluids stopped draining at the correct rate from the tank. This is that process.
