Meeting of the ... loons

I believe the middle loon is the chick from last year and the outer loons are the parents. "Junior" would visit from time to time, but was not residing on the parents' home waters permanently.

 

Taken at first light in the morning from a kayak. You can see the sun reflecting in the eye of the left most loon.
