Goose Barnacle - Lepas Anatifera
A rarely seen sight as these spend their existence floating around at sea attached to flotsam (in this case, a polystyrene fish box) and are usually only found after a storm.
This was the singular time I ever saw them. @ Hamstead Ledge.
