Akamara - Abkhazia

This former coal mining hill town looks like a lost ghost town but it isn't.

Indeed all buildings are in a really bad condition and the nature has overtaken most of them but there are still living around 35 people .

Not with the german standart but they were friendly and didn't look unhappy either it's not an easy life there.

 

A unique place that I will never forget...
