Candyman

I saw this movie called 'Candyman' in middle school that scared the shit out of me. It was shot in an inner city setting and in the plot of the movie anyone who went into the bathroom, turned out the lights and said "Candyman, Candyman, Candyman" would get killed eventually by Candyman,who was essentially the boogeyman. He killed you by inserting his hooked hand into your nether regions and pulling up. Of course after the movie me and my friends when into the bathroom, turned out the lights and said candyman 3 times. I didn't sleep for like a week.

 

I shot this with my brother (for moral and physical support) at an old motel that was converted into a halfway house and then abandoned. It was called the London Motel and it was freaky as hell. This is one of the grittier images I have put together in a while but I think it really captures the feelings that were coursing through my viscera as I took it, hope you like it.
