Sweetest in time

All that you do

In baby reverie prime

When you are dreaming

Not knowing much yet

Youthfulness beaming

Without a regret

 

What are you thinking?

When you’re awake

And those pretty eyes blinking

That baby joys make

All that you feel now

You won’t remember much

When time rests its brow

In its future touch

 

Adorable sweet

The life-force between

Wonderfully treat

That your eyes have seen

Sweetness so tender

When you do smile

Love in its splendor

In baby’s own style
