The Glassmill designed in 1958 by architect Sam Scorer and built in 1959 as the motor showrooms and garage of Lincolnshire Motor Company Ltd. The roof of the building has reinforced concrete hyperbolic paraboloid shell supported on columns. Between 1971 and 2004 it was used as County Library HQ by of Lindsey and Holland County Library and later Lincolnshire County Council Library services. In 2005 it was converted into three restaurant/bars and renamed The Glassmill. Alongside Brayford Pool, Lincoln, Lincolnshire.
