Tea Duelling At The Asylum at Assembly Rooms, part of the 2016 Weekend at the Asylum, organised by Victorian Steampunk Society is the biggest Steampunk Festival in Europe. For four glorious days the historic streets of Lincoln are thronged with thousands of splendidly dressed steampunks enjoying a festival which strives to combine art, literature, music, fashion, comedy and simple good fun. It is held in the historic uphill district of Lincoln, Lincolnshire.
Tea duelling has taken the world by storm and is being played at steampunk events across the globe. Here in the UK, the home of tea duelling, in 2015 two competitions were held at The Asylum. On the Saturday there was the Asylum 2015 Championship and on the Sunday there was The UK National Finals 2015.
Competitions run strictly according to the Articles of the Association available at

The winner of Saturday's competition was afforded the title of Asylum Tea Duel Champion 2016. They will also be entitled to compete on Sunday for United Kingdom National Title.
