Dance groups from across the East Midlands will converge on Lincoln for a day of Morris dancing, filling the streets with the vibrant colours and sounds of an ancient English tradition.
Groups of dancers will perform in Lincoln city centre and Lincoln's Cathedral Quarter as part of the Lincoln BIG Morris Dancing Festival. The celebrations will see around 250 dancers and more than 20 Morris groups sing, dance to music and clash sticks in colourful costumes.
